AI Adoption Visualization
Boris Cherny, the creator of Claude Code, developed a table, “Steps of AI Adoption,” a good example for students to analyze. To show a lot of information in stages, the table is a good choice, but it may be too dense for some audiences and purposes.
Here are a few ideas for classroom exercises:
Create an infographic based on the content.
Create an interactive tool for organizations to assess where they are and to identify requirements for getting to the next level.
Revise the content for an audience who is less technical, for example, senior leaders who are averse to or wary of AI.
Focus on one aspect of each step, for example, bottlenecks, and create a visual to illustrate that aspect.
Simplify the information for an oral presentation: perhaps a slide deck to accompany a webinar or in-person presentation.
Students might have other ideas for using the table content in different contexts.
